What we have done

These are deliberate decisions, not defaults:

• Body text contrast is at least 7:1 against its background — the AAA standard, not the AA minimum.
• Minimum body text size is 17px, and every size scales if you change your browser’s text size.
• Every interactive target is at least 44 by 44 pixels.
• Focus outlines are never removed, so the site is fully usable by keyboard.
• All content is present in the page without JavaScript. Animations are additive and never required to see anything.
• If your device is set to reduce motion, we turn off smooth scrolling and every animation.
• The enquiry form works without JavaScript, has real labels, and never relies on colour alone.
• Phone numbers are tappable links everywhere they appear.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 level AA, and we exceed it on text contrast. We have not commissioned an independent audit yet. When we do, we will publish the result here including anything it finds.

What we know is not perfect

Photographs are still being added. Decorative placeholders carry no alternative text; every meaningful image will get a proper description, written by someone who has seen it, before launch.

Some third-party content we may add later — a map, or review widgets — is not fully under our control. We will test anything before adding it and will not add anything that cannot be used by keyboard.

You will never be disadvantaged for contacting us by phone instead of using the website.
